Robex Contracting were asked to apply a non-slip high build floor coating to the courier entrance, cycle corridor and tenant cycle store, the existing flooring did not have any non-slip properties so there was a slip risk when the floor was wet.

Existing floor coating was removed using diamond grinding with vacuum assistance making the preparation process dust free, we applied 2 coats of Robex high build to the floor with a non slip aggregate scatter broadcast into the coating, we then painted a line around the whole cycle store with a contrasting blue, which matched the signage the client had installed.

Challenges / How you over come

Works were carried out over a period of a week, during the Easter holidays and amidst the COVID pandemic, we ensured that we followed all government guidelines and that we maintained social distancing during our works

Outcome

Client was delighted with their new floor coating as it gave the area a new lease of life
