Having coated the floor in the Fiamma kitchen (London) on a couple of occasions, the hotel asked if we could come up with a longer-lasting alternative.

Challenges

The original floor in the kitchen was a PU Resin which, in an ideal world, would be completely removed. However, due to time constraints, this was not possible.

Work undertaken

Once the floor had been thoroughly prepared and primed, our in-house team of operatives installed RXPU 6290 over the top of the existing screed, including coving.

Outcome

The work transformed the kitchen floor. It now has excellent slip resistance (fully tested) and comes with a 10-year guarantee.
