Magnet Darlington

Magnet spent thousands of pounds on various upgrades at Darlington, including a magnificent purpose-built showroom. Robex Contracting was involved in the design and construction of new epoxy flooring for the showroom.

RXEP Liquid Floortile 3000

Work undertaken

The old floor was ground off, fully primed and a self-levelling cementitious pumped screed was applied to level the floor. After curing, this screed was ground down, vacuumed and primed. Robex RXEP Liquid Floortile 3000, a self-levelling epoxy compound, was then applied, at a thickness of 3mm, to obtain the finish required.

Outcome

The finished new showroom epoxy flooring surface was level, durable, easy to clean and offered a very attractive finish. We offered technical advice to Magnet on how to keep the surface clean. All parties were delighted with the end result.
