Objective

Create a seamless floor with chemical resistance that included appropriate line marking where necessary (Cotton’s Centre, London).

The RXEP Hi-Build 500 resin flooring system is designed for superior chemical resistance, strength, and resilience. Ideal for a variety of industrial, commercial, and manufacturing environments, including warehouses, chemical processing facilities, printing operations, food production plants, bakeries, dairies, abattoirs, and breweries, it comes in a variety of colors and can be customized with anti-slip features and line markings. RXEP Hi-Build 500 is solvent free and has very low odour during application.

Work undertaken

Preparation using diamond headed grinding machines with vacuum assistance followed by the application of two coats of RXEP Hi-Build 500. Epoxy Line Marker was installed to all concrete plinths.

Challenges

Due to the multiple layers of existing paint, all preparation work was completed over one weekend with the Installation of the resin flooring carried out during the week.

Outcome

The property managers were delighted with their new floor and happy to see the back of their old, deteriorated, and peeling floors.
