The Southbank Centre London

The Southbank Centre is a complex of venues in London, situated on the South Bank of the River Thames. Robex Contracting was asked to look at a waterproofing problem on a paved area outside the Hayward Gallery as water was leaking into the building below.

Deckmaster liquid waterproof resin

Work undertaken

All the slabs were removed to reveal an asphalt surface which was mechanically prepared and cleaned. Various repairs were then made and the Deckmaster system was applied, creating a waterproof 'membrane'.

Outcome

The client on site was delighted with the results following the application of the Deckmaster resin.
