Unistrut Limited Delta Point West Bromwich

Following exceptional growth, Atkore Unistrut and Marco, have invested in an additional manufacturing facility at their site in West Bromwich. As part of this development, Robex Contracting were asked to continue its partnership and work with the company in 2021, by completing the application of its wall coatings to the external cladding panels of factory.

Unistrut is a worldwide manufacturing company of Industrial Cable and Lighting Support Systems.

Work Undertaken

• Our Robex installation team prepared the resin
• We applied Robex Plastisol Resin System to the front panels of the three factory units
• The company’s corporate colour ‘Atkore Green’ was applied

Challenges

Access and difficult weather conditions made the job a challenge for our application team, who were working at height during wet and sometimes windy conditions, along with the high summer temperatures experienced in July.

Outcome

As with previous projects, the application was completed on time and to a high standard, which resulted in Unistrut asking us to complete further work to the floors of the new manufacturing facility in the future.
