About our client

Jonarve is a privately owned company that specializes in providing flexible, creative, and effective contract packing and filling solutions to the toiletries and home care sector.

Objective

Our client required a complete renovation of the warehouse floor but without the need for full excavation and replacement. They wanted a new surface with improved structural integrity, that was aesthetically pleasing, easy to clean and maintain.

Materials used

Robex Epoxy Crete Concrete Repair Mortar, Retanal Unbonded Structural Screed, and RXEP Hi-Build 500.

Work undertaken

Our expert installation teams carried out extensive preparation which included vacuum grit blasting, concrete repairs, priming, and screeding prior to the installation of our RXEP Hi-Build 500.

Challenges

The existing floor was in a poor state of disrepair; uneven with large cracks and spalling on the surface. To ensure the floor could properly hold the client’s goods and materials, caution had to be taken when installing the new screed, guaranteeing the proper leveling and structural stability.

Outcome

The project was completed on time and to a high standard and looks fantastic. The client has now installed racking and the warehouse is fully operational in the day-to-day business of the company.
