Objective

The existing substrate was in a dusty condition causing on-site issues and a recent investment in a new building and equipment required a smart, clean floor to reflect expenditure on the new water treatment facilities. Robex contracting was instructed to install a high-build epoxy resin floor installation

RXEP Hi-Build 500 has excellent chemical resistance and offers a high performance, seamless coating with the option of a safety anti-slip finish with the addition of suitable aggregates.

Work undertaken

The substrate was mechanically prepared using diamond headed grinders with vacuum assistance. Two coats of RXEP Hi-Build 500 with an anti-slip finish were applied followed by the installation of yellow and blue line markings.
