Robex Contracting was asked to look at a waterproofing problem on the roof which required a liquid-applied waterproofing system that could be used as a walkway, as and when required, for various maintenance procedures.

Work undertaken

We used the Deckmaster System which included a primer, followed by a 'body coat' of resin, applied at about 2mm, followed by a pigmented sealer coat and, in this instance, a fine non-slip aggregate was broadcast into the final sealer coat.

Prior to the system being applied, the roof had to be thoroughly prepared and various repairs were made.

Outcome

The result was a superb, seamless, waterproof system that is very durable and ideal in the English environment.
